““JR HUNTER”, a 2-time World Champion, is a natural moving English Stallion.
He is known for his elegant sweepy trot, and a soft, fluid, deep hocked canter. His
movement in the Show Ring, as well as his color, coat pattern, and elegant head and
neck, are eye catching to all. “JR” is the son of Hall of Fame Stallion, “The Hunter”,
and by “Rockability”, the producer of Multiple World Champions. His good minded
disposition, color, confirmation and movement, are only a few of his outstanding traits
he is passing on to his foals.
Due to limited showing, it was not until 2006, under the guidance and training of
Mike and Cindy Mergaert, “JR” achieved an impressive show career in Hunter Under
Saddle and Hunter In Hand.

Due to his show career his book has been limited to the public. His first foal crop
is now on the ground and under saddle. Watch for “JR’s Dreamin Hunter” in Hunter
In Hand Mares with Mike Mergaert and Hunter Under Saddle with Cindy Mergaert
(Reserve World Champion in 2 & 3 y/o Hunter In Hand Mares & 4th Place out of 23
entries in 2 y/o Hunter Under Saddle at the 2008 World Show).
Some of “JR’s” other foals showing are “JR”s Diamond Hunter” and “JR’s
Royal Hunter” in Non-Pro Under Saddle, Hunter In Hand, and Color Classes. We are
proud of these outstanding foals which have shown exceptional qualities in the Show
Ring. Also, “JR’s Zippin Hunter” will be making her debut in 3-year old Western
Pleasure.

Windcatcher Ranch Stallion Station with Whizzer & Kathi Baker in Sumterville, Florida (30
